One year ahead of the "Global AI Summit 2027" in Geneva, Switzerland is setting the course for its digital future. At the digitalswitzerland forum 2026 in the BernExpo, over 200 leaders from business, science, politics, and public administration came together. Federal Councillor Albert Rösti presented the federal government's political vision for Geneva 2027 and advocated for pragmatic, innovation-friendly AI regulation.

Geneva AI Summit Scheduled for June 21 and 22, 2027: A Major Milestone for Switzerland’s AI Future

Federal Councillor Albert Rösti officially announced that the Geneva AI Summit will take place on June 21 and 22, 2027, making the announcement at this year’s AI for Good Global Summit. As an official partner, digitalswitzerland is launching a series of initiatives including a major global side event and the Swiss AI Action Plan to position Switzerland at the forefront of trustworthy AI innovation.
